ENG: The Border Roads Organisation (BRO, whose motto is « Creates, Connects, Cares ») maintains roads that serve the borders areas of India. It is staffed with a combination of Border Roads Engineering Service officers from the General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF) and officers from the Corps of Engineers of the Indian Army. With a total bridge length of more than 16 km over a road length of 1260 km in Arunachal Pradesh, the Udayak Project, raised in June 1990 in the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Assam, probably has the highest bridge to road length ratio in the world. In Arunachal Pradesh, most of the workers are Nepalese. Ses équipes sont constituées du Service de l’ingénierie des routes frontalières et du Groupe technique de réserve générale (GREF).
